EuroFix Flexible Premium C2
Polymer-modified flexible cementitious adhesive for porcelain, large-format tiles, natural stone and façades
Description
A high-performance, polymer-modified cementitious tile adhesive engineered to fix low-absorption tiles (porcelain, ceramic granite), large-format slabs and natural stone on interior and exterior surfaces. It offers extended open time (E), reduced slip (T) and S1-class deformability that absorbs thermal and vibration stress without cracking.
Fields of Application
- Low-absorption porcelain and ceramic-granite tiles
- Large-format tiles (up to 120×120 cm and larger)
- Natural stone and marble (light shades with care)
- External façades and high-traffic floors
- Tile-over-tile and heated screeds

| Service temp. range | −30°C to +80°C |
Surface Preparation
- The substrate must be sound, clean and free of dust, oils and loose cement laitance.
- Pre-fill large voids/cracks and level uneven surfaces beforehand.
- Prime highly absorbent surfaces with EuroFix Acrylic Primer before application.
- Dampen very dry substrates with clean water without leaving standing puddles.
Application Method
- Add the powder gradually to clean water and mix with a slow drill until a lump-free paste forms.
- Let the mix rest 5 minutes to mature, then re-stir before use.
- Spread with the flat side of the trowel, then comb with the notched side suited to the tile size.
- For large-format and external tiles use the double-buttering technique (substrate + tile back).
- Place the tile and press with a sliding motion to ensure full contact within the open time.
- Periodically lift a test tile to verify full back-coverage.
Consumption
| Use | Rate |
|---|---|
| 6 mm notch — small/medium tiles | ≈ 2.5 kg/m² |
| 8 mm notch — medium tiles | ≈ 3.5 kg/m² |
| 10 mm notch — large tiles | ≈ 4.5 kg/m² |
| Double-buttering — large/external porcelain | 6–8 kg/m² |
Comparison vs. Ordinary Site Mix
| Criterion | Ordinary Mix | EuroFix |
|---|---|---|
| Bond strength | Mechanical only, 0.3–0.5 N/mm² | Chemical + mechanical, ≥ 1.0 N/mm² |
| Low-absorption porcelain | Will not bond — hollows and detaches | Specifically engineered for it |
| Flexibility / cracking | Rigid and brittle, cracks with movement | S1 flexible, absorbs stress |
| Water & frost resistance | Porous, weak when wet | Water- and frost-resistant |
| Thickness & weight | Thick bed, 15–30 mm | Thin bed, 3–10 mm |
| Service life | Hollowing/detachment within years | Stable for decades |
Consumption & Cost
Although the bag price is higher than a traditional sand-cement site mix, the cost per square metre is competitive and often lower once the full picture is counted: the thin bed (3–10 mm) consumes far less material than a thick bed (15–30 mm), waste is near zero, labour cost drops thanks to faster installation, and — most importantly — ordinary mortar cannot bond porcelain at all, leading to hollowing, detachment and costly re-work. EuroFix C2 eliminates the cost of failure and guarantees a fix that lasts decades.
Packaging
25 kg paper bag — 48 bags per pallet
Storage & Shelf Life
Store in original sealed bags in a dry place, raised off the ground on wooden pallets. Shelf life 12 months from the production date printed on the packaging.
Safety
Contains cement which reacts alkaline with moisture. Wear protective gloves and goggles. On eye contact, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children.
