EuroFix Self-Levelling Compound

Self-smoothing floor underlayment that flows flat for fast, level interior floors

ClassificationEN 13813 — CT-C20-F6
ColourLight grey
CEEN 13813CT-C20-F6

Description

A self-levelling floor compound classified EN 13813 — CT-C20-F6 that flows flat to level interior floors quickly and accurately, ready for tile, vinyl or wood. Suitable for underfloor heating at 2–10 mm thickness, it provides the flat surface essential for large-format tiles and modern finishes in reconstruction work.

Fields of Application

  • Interior floors before tile, vinyl or wood
  • Levelling uneven floors
  • Underfloor heating systems
  • Base prep for large-format tiles
  • Reconstruction and modern floor finishes

Surface Preparation

  • The substrate must be sound, clean and free of dust, oil and loose layers.
  • Fill cracks and joints and seal openings to prevent the fluid compound leaking.
  • Prime the floor with a suitable primer (e.g., EuroFix Primer) to prevent pinholes and ensure even flow.
  • Allow the primer to dry completely before pouring.

Application Method

  1. Add the powder to clean water and mix with a slow drill to a homogeneous, lump-free fluid.
  2. Let the mix rest 2 minutes, then re-stir before pouring.
  3. Pour the mix onto the floor at 2–10 mm and spread with a smoother.
  4. Pass a spiked roller over the compound to release air and ensure self-smoothing.
  5. Walk-on after ≈ 4 hours; allow full drying before laying tile or flooring.

Comparison vs. Ordinary Site Mix

CriterionOrdinary MixEuroFix
Flatness Uneven, needs correction layers Flows flat automatically
Speed of work Manual, slow, labour-intensive Fast pour, less labour
Cure time Long cure before finishing Walk-on within ≈ 4 hours
Large-format readiness Waviness prevents large tiles Ideal flat base
Underfloor heating Cracks with thermal movement Suitable for underfloor heating

Consumption & Cost

Compared with hand-screeding using a sand-cement mix — which is uneven, labour-intensive and slow to cure — the self-levelling compound delivers speed, flatness and less labour. It flows flat automatically and is walk-on within about 4 hours, becoming ready for tile, vinyl or wood quickly. This flatness is essential for large-format tiles and modern finishes in reconstruction, where the higher bag price turns into real savings in time, labour and finish quality.

Packaging

25 kg bag

Storage & Shelf Life

Store in original sealed bags in a dry place, raised off the ground on wooden pallets. Shelf life 12 months from the production date printed on the packaging.

Safety

Contains cement which reacts alkaline with moisture. Wear protective gloves and goggles. On eye contact, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children.
