Detailed Product Description

The approved waterproofing system for permanent immersion: swimming pools, water tanks, fountains and planters. Also used under tiles in bathrooms, kitchens, balconies and terraces, and in basements against positive water pressure up to 1.5 bar. Bridges hairline cracks up to 0.75 mm, protecting the seal against structural movement, and is tiled over directly with EuroFix S1 adhesive.
A two-component system: Component A is a cementitious powder (special cement, graded silica sand, polymers and fibres), 25 kg; Component B is a polymer liquid (styrene-acrylic dispersion), 8 kg. Mixed together with no added water, they form a flexible cementitious membrane meeting class CM O2P to EN 14891.
The substrate must be sound, clean and free of oil, dust and loose particles. Repair voids and cracks with EuroFix R3 repair mortar and cove the internal corners. Pre-wet the surface to saturation, leaving it matt-damp with no standing water at the moment of application.
Pour liquid Component B into a clean vessel, then add Component A gradually while mixing with a slow-speed mixer (≈ 500 rpm) for three minutes to a homogeneous, lump-free paste — never add water. Let the mix stand for 3 minutes, then remix briefly. Pot life is about 45–60 minutes at 23 °C.
Apply in two coats by brush, roller or trowel. Work the first coat firmly into the substrate and embed reinforcing mesh at corners, around drains and over joints. Once touch-dry (4–6 hours), apply the second coat at right angles to a total thickness of ≈ 2 mm (≈ 3 kg/m²). Protect from rain and direct sun for 24 hours; tile with S1 adhesive after 3 days; fill pools after 7–14 days.
Component A is cementitious and alkaline when wet — wear gloves, safety glasses and a dust mask while mixing. Component B is a low-hazard aqueous dispersion. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice if needed. Keep out of reach of children.
Store Component A in its sealed bags on wooden pallets in a dry place. Store Component B in its original tightly-closed container between 5 and 35 °C, away from frost and direct sun — freezing ruins it permanently. Both components keep for 12 months from the production date.
